We provide a host of high-end wellness services, offering free wellness information for those who need access. Access to information can be an invaluable tool in the field of self-development and self-improvement. A Change for Better is managed by Ashley Cairns, a wellness expert with a lifelong affinity with helping others and improving lives.

Through A Change for Better, we look to provide people with the assistance that they need. This comes from providing:

  • Affordable and reliable access to counselling and coaching through A Change for Better.

A Change for Better: Providing counselling services for all who need help

Life is all about trying to find ways to help ourselves, but we often help ourselves most by working with other people. When we spend time working with and helping others, the sense of positivity that it can drive through our very bodies is an immense feeling. At A Change for Better, we look to help people drive that feeling and that sense of progression on a daily basis.

It’s our belief that life should be all about helping people to feel better. But the world we live in does so little to help us feel that way. That’s where our service looks to come in and make a positive, progressive change. However, getting access to the information that we need can be so tough – that’s why we offer both free and paid solutions for accessing valuable wellness data.

Nobody should be left feeling mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, or intellectually unwell due to lacking funds.

At A Change for Better, we will never lock you out of learning the essential and fundamental programs that we believe can shape and make a life. While our coaching and exclusive programs are paid, they are made affordable so that you can join in eventually.

Rest assured, though, that our litany of free resources provides you with the foundational understanding of wellness that you need to make genuine progress. So, don’t worry about lacking the opportunity to make things better: with our help, such problems can soon become a thing of the past.

With both free and paid services, improved wellness is just a matter of putting in the time.

A Change for Better is a website dedicated to helping people tackle all forms of wellness– physical, mental, intellectual, and financial.

I will be using scientific data to back up all information I offer and welcome challenges and updates to information as it becomes available. I strive for this to be your one-stop shop for all things wellness, so you can make your own change for better.

Nobody can force you to make a positive change in life – only you can be the driving force to make that change. Through A Change for Better, though, you’ll be given all the help that you need to make that change possible. That’s why we focus on the four key categories of wellness: if we can work on these four key categories of life, you can only benefit from it as time goes on.

So, why not make a progressive commitment and start working on your own self? It’s time to focus on where you need to make genuine changes so that your future years can be better.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy and benefit from your visit here and come back often!

A Change for Better Ashley Cairns
My name is Ashley Cairns and I am the founder behind A Change for Better and A Peaceful Place.

Before you commit to anything through my service, I want you to feel 100% comfortable about the opportunity in front of you. You can read more about me on-site, but I want to ensure that you have a positive feeling about the future starting from today.

A Change for Better was created out of a deficit I found in the community services sector.

I’ve had the pleasure of working in local communities for a long time now, and it’s been a genuine pride of my life to do that. However, I’ve noticed just how limited the ability for wellness in the community to be provided first-hand.

While the effort and the commitment are there from staff, funding often means having to choose one ailment and focusing on that. I found that this created what I would refer to as a black hole in the system; essentially creating places where people could go to perish without the support they need.

If they didn’t fit the most specific of outlines, they would be deemed ineligible or they would be given partial treatment when they needed so much more. Having watched friends, family, and colleagues taken to breaking point through the emotional toll such work and such limits place on them, I decided it was time to do more.

Breaking the Mold

Working in the non-profit community, my ability then to help people through a crisis or situation is limited. Poverty, food insecurity, social skills, nutrition, exercise, and intellectual stimulation were seen as factors contributing to mental health concerns. However, due to lack of funding, poor range of funding options, and time, these factors are not being treated. That’s why I looked to make a progressive change and try to offer people the opportunity that cannot be provided elsewhere. I hope you find this site helpful on your path to wellness!

Journal Prompts for Mental Health

Upon falling into journaling, though, I soon realised the massive benefit it provided to my overall worldview. So, to help you avoid the same mistakes, here are some very useful journal prompts for mental health.

Meditation Tips for Beginners

June 24th, 2020|

Without doubt, one of the most gratifying and significant life changes I made was getting involved in mediation. While many people may intend to try it out, most of us lack the time, the space, or the patience to give it 100%. For years, I was the same – until I finally gave it a proper chance.

Ways to Feel Better on a Bad Day

June 16th, 2020|

Life comes at us in various ways, but most of the time we can often break it down to a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ day. Like you, I’ve had my fair share of both kinds of day over the years – I’ve endured horrific days and enjoyed amazing days. However, one thing that I’ve worked on across many years is the ability to feel better when I’m not having such a good day.

Random Acts of Kindness You Can Spread

June 12th, 2020|

The world that we live in can feel both incredibly kind and incredibly cruel depending on where you look. As someone who has been lucky enough to experience immense kindness and vicious cruelty, I have been on both sides of this fence. However, without doubt one of the most effective ways to live a happy and healthy life, I have always found, is to initiate some random acts of kindness.

How Journaling Can Make You Happier

June 8th, 2020|

In life, one of the most common issues that we can face stems from an inability to know what tomorrow hold. For me, and likely for you, that uncertainty can be quite off-putting and unsettling. If you find yourself in that particular position, you might find it hard to snap free and to find focus once again.
