Alli Beattie Counselling
I am a wife and Mum. My origins are from the North Island, NZ however in 2001 my daughter and I migrated down South initially to Christchurch then in 2013 after she left home, I married a St Bathans farmer and we moved further South to this small, rural town that used to be a goldmining town around the turn of last century. My husband and I also farm heritage pigs and raise chickens, have 3 beehives, a horse, 2 boxers and one ragdoll cat Mooch. I enjoy reading, being creative, music, gardening, learning and enjoying life with loved ones.
Hi, I am Alice!
Hello. I enjoy supporting people find solutions that create a sense of progress and efficacy for them. My approach ultimately aims to cultivate a safe environment of being heard and seen to support open and non-judgemental communication towards this goal. I have 13 years experience walking alongside individuals and couples considering it an honour and joy to do so.
I would describe my approach as: down to earth, respectful, practical, approachable, non-judgmental, value the therapeutic alliance/connection and see this as conducive to good therapy, confidential and trustworthy. I have been told I am a good listener.
